When it comes to saving precious family moments, nothing is better than capturing it all live. While photos are a wonderful way to save memories, a video is even better, as it lets you relive every single moment, and remember things you may have forgotten over the years! While there are many options out there for taking home videos, one of the best is a camcorder. They are small, convenient, and for the most part built to last a lifetime. There are so many uses for these little handy devices you just couldn’t name all of them. An example may be using them in before during and after shots when doing home remodeling. Videoing a weather event has become popular these days. Some also use them for a little more of the “behind closed doors” fun too. No I am not going to write anything related. (Smiles).
When it comes to choosing one, there are many excellent brands available. Sony, Kodak, Flip Ultra, and Panasonic are a few of the more popular brands. While camcorders tend to be a bit more expensive than traditional videocameras, the costs is well worth the benefits. They can be found in most retail stores and also online. Some of the bigger online stores offer product info as well as customer reviews, so when making your choice you become well informed and avoid buying more than you need or didn’t really want. For me it’s being able to take it anywhere I go and if I feel the need to video something it’s always handy. JR

The Panasonic AG-HMC70 is a 3-CCD AVCHD Shoulder-Mount Camcorder. It provides entry-level professionals with an easy-to-use, high-quality, solid-state HD recording solution at an affordable price. As the first shoulder-mount camcorder in Panasonic’s professional AVCHD line-up, the HMC70 utilizes the AVCHD High Profile video codec, which offers similar image quality to HDV 1080i at about half the bandwidth. This second-generation, affordable HD format offers longer recording times and half the storage requirement of older systems. As easy to use as a digital camera, the HMC70 records onto standard SD/SDHC cards to assure a fast tapeless production workflow. It gives you fast access to content without fast forward or rewinding and footage is immediately available to editing systems without the ingest delay and additional cost of a playback deck. SD and SDHC cards are widely available and content can be played back in AVCHD-compatible consumer products with SD card slots, including Blu-ray players (Panasonic DMP-BD10AK Blu-ray Disc Player), Sony Playstation 3, computers (using an AVHCD decoder software) and a growing number of large HD flat screen displays and front or rear-screen projectors. Using just one 16GB SDHC memory card, the HMC70 can record over 2.6 hours at 13Mbps, the HMC70′s highest quality mode, or up to 6 hours at 6Mbps, the camera’s extended recording mode.

If you have 3-inch DVD ready with a warm palm, which may well turn into a sweat with repeated use will support. The camera uses a 2.7 "touchscreen LCD, which can be rotated as a viewfinder, 60x optical zoom, while it is totally internally for a more compactDevice.
Specifications: Equipped with a 1/8-inch Advanced HAD CCD imager of the Sony DCR-DVD650, and a 60x optical zoom 2000x digital cameras, camcorders is certainly strong enough. Equipped with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar ® camera also features SteadyShot image stabilization to ensure that the signal remains stable even at full optical zoom. The camera has an internal memory of 16 GB respectable, but using it on a DVD;DVD-R/-RW / + RW and + R DL (dual layer) 3-inch disc-Media or Sony Memory Stick flash media. The camera has a variety of other functions, but those of note include a built-in zoom mic-touch burn a DVD and an option to turn Easy Handycam operation, all other controls, other than simple recording options.
Features and Performance In most controls are easy to use on the Sony DCR DVD650. The video quality is also topnotch, but while the camerachooses one of its Memory Stick flash memory from Sony or 3-inch DVD both offer advantages and disadvantages of each type of support is limited.
All in all, the Sony DCR-DVD650 camcorder Media Bridge is a great abundance of powerful features. The hybrid-Plus offers the user more options for media, according to the requirements and Should Be a good "bridge" device for Those Who make it to 3-inch DVD media.
