The Sony DCR-TRV130 is an entry-level Digital8 camcorder with a lot of pop. Featuring a 20x optical zoom, with Sony’s SteadyShot image stabilization for those with shaky hands, you should be able to get right into the action of whatever scene you want to shoot. Coming with all of Sony’s standard features–including Super NightShot for 0-lux shooting, and analog audio and video inputs–the DCR-TRV130 is a great camcorder. And you get all the benefits of a digital camcorder: 500-line resolution and PCM digital audio. The Program AE mode lets you choose from among seven different presets, helping to ensure quality footage in any situation. A photo mode records stills onto a tape along with up to seven seconds of audio.
